Energy Update

Hey My Luvs! Another Moon Cycle has passed, so here are the energies coming up for us. We can utilize the information here to get a glimpse of whats to come over the next few weeks. I had planned on pulling a card for each Zodiac, but my Sistar sent me a message that has me questioning everything about time, years, and other things I can't see. What I can see is the Sun rising and falling, and the Moon doing the same along with its phases. So for now I'll be doing the updates on the New and Full Moon phases. When pulling for the overall Theme for us this month, four cards fell from my oracle deck and the card at the bottom of the deck caught my attention. They are all very powerful and positive cards, so lets see what each of them have to tell us...

At the bottom of the deck, there was Rhiannon (Inner Strength).

There is a full Moon behind this Goddess, which makes me feel as though this energy is something that will be gradually happening over the next couple of weeks leading up to the Full Moon on the 16th. There is something that you have been needing or wanting to do that requires inner strength. Believe it or not, you have an abundance of inner strength and all it takes is getting past your fears. I know at times that can be difficult, but life gets harder when we resist growth.

Nemetona (Safe Space)

Some of us may need to create a safe place for alone time. Life can get busy, but it is very important to make time for yourself. Others may be beginning the process of moving into a new home or wanting to do so. A few may need to declutter and cleanse the home in order to make space for new energy or create balance. Lastly, this card is letting you know it is safe to be your authentic self. This is how you will come to find the people who accept you for who you are, when you yourself embrace who you are.

Oshun (Sweet Success)

How sweet is this energy to bless us this month! Success is in the eye of the beholder. What you view as success may be different from someone else. Either way, when you embrace who you are, nothing can hold you back from being successful. If you are in search of a new home or wanting to redecorate your current home in some way, you will succeed. The background of this card reminds me of the fall season. We are currently in spring, so whatever endeavors you put energy into now will most likely be ready for harvest around the fall equinox. You will see some progress though by the full moon of this month. For some, something you started last fall or about two fall seasons ago will soon be ready for harvest. Persephone (New Beginnings)

This card is fitting, as we started the calendar month out with a New Moon In Aries, the head of the zodiac, on the first day of this month. New beginnings are on the horizon for all aspects of life. Work, love, spirituality, health, etc. This is the perfect time to let go of old habits that aren't doing us any good, and start some new routines that will add value to our lives. It also signifies a renewal of something. Relationships will get better, finances will be better, or just a new perspective of life. I'm hearing some of you might have a new bundle of joy as well. Congrats to those who do! I'm seeing a wedding or wedding proposal for a few of you too. Be sure to send me an invite. lol.

Hod (Tell The Truth)

Because we are starting fresh, be sure to be truthful about any and everything. Especially with yourself. Be honest with yourself about what you want and what your goals are in life. Be sure to make decisions that are best for you and not what others want from you. And if someone asks you how you feel about something, let them know. Sometimes, when we have to have difficult discussions, we tend to not say things that could possibly be hurtful to others. It's okay to be mindful of the way you deliver messages, but what has to be said needs to be said.

This card hit home today as I mention the whole time thing, so I'd like to share what is was exactly that my Sistar told me earlier. She sent me a post about how in Ethiopia does not go by the Gregorian calendar that the most countries go by. Ethiopia is one of Africa's oldest independent countries and they still use the Julian calendar. That particular calendar is 7 to 8 years behind the Gregorian calendar because they have an extra month. There are many different stories as to why the calendars were changed. Who knows what the truth really is. It's an interesting topic to research though. Just goes to show that what is true to you, may be false to someone else.
